Updates!

I haven't been blogging lately because I was busy with holiday trips!

Christmas day was nothing really. The only fun part was watching the newbie cooking. Jessica the queen of 'mangkuk' was baking for the first time in her whole entire life. Yeah first time! She dont really know what to do, so Yen Mei was telling her what to do and she peeled an apple for like 15 minutes (I think). We have to make apple pie. Yen Mei was like telling her how to stir and stuff like that, until Sarah, the scary teacher, came... She went yelling instructions at Jessica and Jessica felt peer pressure so started shouting back and the food that she was making was flying all around the table. Chen Li house, the food was delicious. It was all good until giving present time...I think I was singing while the man was yelling out to the people what they should to in order to get their presents. Guess what I got..

A 'Ben 10' colouring book. Real sweet and childish... I ended up giving it to Ken. Well, you dont expect a sixteen year old girl to sit at the corner colouring right?? Well, probably some of you would do that but not me. Anyway I got another present which is a bar of chocolate which is not so bad.

26th of December, Random Party. It was funny but real messy, it was like no one knows what they were doing. The game was really scary...Well, the first game was not the second one. The second one was ages, it was like you draw something on someones back and the you pass the message to the front by drawing on your groups back. It took to long that my brother, Jeremy drew a smiley face on Ken's back. The real drawing was a keyboard....

28th December, Port Dickson trip! The room was awesome and I learnt how to swim. Still can't float, instead of floating, I sink like a rock. That is basically the interesting part... No wait! Jessica took a pissed in the pool and Auntie Judy was happily swimming at the spot where she pissed. Freaking hilarious!! Oh and I went kayaking with Jessica. Jessica got tired real fast so I ended up did most of the rowing. We didn't know how to row very well so instead of going straight we went side ways. It was a fun trip.

Today, I painted the fence. I had fun at the first part but got tired later on, and I had to continue tomorrow... But tomorrow my little cousins are coming over!! Woohoo! I hope they dont cry, especially the little baby. Well, that's all... Will upload pictures later, because this is my brothers laptop and I could only use it for half an hour, but I will try to extend my time. I think he won't mind, he is not that fussy.

Whatever night it is called.

When to a party at night and it was like crazy (probably not as crazy as NZ), the loud music booming, people jumping up and down on the dance floor, girls dancing with girls. Oh well, lets just see the pictures I got.
Jia Ling, the only girl playing, the guitar

Elena and I (my hair looks like crap I know so I tied it up)

Janine, Jia Ling, me, Elena (I tied my hair up)

It was like you can hear for a moment, until you enter that crazy room you just turn deaf. All I know was people's mouth were moving and I was like 'What?!'. There were group of dancers, I wouldn't say they were awesome because they sort of bored me after awhile, but they were okay. Everyone on the dance floor were like drunken ladies, sort of scared me, but there were no alcoholic drink so I think they got drunk by drinking too much orange juice. Most of the people were really rude, give people a chance to perform mate, instead of encouraging them they 'Booed' them down. How rude, I wonder what happen in NZ. I think they will get bashed up ae? Nah, most of them are skater dude and rugby players, right? Anyway, let those rude guys have their fun, when it is their turn they will cry. I saw they were ugly, all of them were ugly anyway. Well, not all but most if them. I mean the boys not the girls, the girls were stunning, uhh...not including me , I look awful.

My cousins

My cousin had just left to Singapore. They are from Australia. So far they are the closest one from my dad's side. Cindy, the one in pink is an extrovert type. She is the most hype up person, the last night they were with us. She sang in the car with her sister and she waved happily to the guard. Shernese, she just completed her studies in high school. Going to be a lawyer soon...I think. She is the one who is the mature type and she seems to be a good sister. Michael, the one in white on the left is a quiet type. I didnt talk to him much though, because he is really quiet.

Notice the same thing in the two pictures above? How come old ladies love to smile with their mouth close. Jeremy is the most awkward one...

Camp : Zeroes to Heroes

It was really good. The worst part of it was jungle trekking is that everyone (almost) got leeches on their legs, hand or body. I got some leeches on my legs, that freaking leech just climb higher and higher from my leg to my thigh. They are really disgusting. You can hear everyone shouting 'LEECH!' while our doctor, Chen li, with her mosquito spray goes around saying 'Where? Where?' and spray on the leech which it drop of later. Juliana and her but goes sliding down all the way at the sloppy part. Me? I tripped two times and landed on my butt. There is a boy named Kiat Siong, he was really funny. While we were going up hill, he was already panting like a dog while the others were laughing and smiling away. Juliana even got to help him when he climb down the hill. Well, it was good team work though.
Oh yeah, there was another part of it. The romanopoly by Juliana, that was when I got a pretty good present which I am still suffering from it. Every single time I sit on a chair I have to leaned on my right bum because my left bum is aching from a terrible fall. It was a fight with Qi, we were on the bench pushing each other, because of the game. We are asked to fight just to please the King, King Rodney the III. While we were fighting, Qi got hold by pushing me backwards as the chair wasn't that stable, I pulled her and held on to her as we fell side ways. Qi got a deep cut on her leg while I got a sore bum which I couldn't sit upright now.
But all in all it was the best holiday in Malaysia so far. I get to spend more time with my mates. I saw a 5 weeks old puppy which couldn't open their eyes yet. They were so adorable, there were six of them and their mum was such a good mum. When it was raining heavily, their mum carried them to somewhere safe. They were just too adorable.
The first day of Uncle Philip speech was all about science and maths that are related to the bible. He was teaching us and we were like 'oohh..' and 'ahhh..' for people like me though. And after the session, our brains felt like heroes! Christine is a dramatic girl, she fell for every boy in the camp. But her favourite was Daniel (one chinese boy). She goes around calling people handsome and pretty in mandarin. She is really funny and shameless. She reminded me of Alice, but I think she is worst than Alice.
Photos will be uploaded later.

Good and Bad day

My eyes are teary, my nose is over-flowing with mucus, and I keep sneezing. That's right I got a cold, not any normal cold. It is terrible today and gone tomorrow. I got some sinus problem... Visiting my cousin was the worst part of it, I kept sneezing in their house and my eyes were bulging and red...I felt tired and sick. I wanted to go home while my mum keep insisting on staying a little longer, so while I suffer they chat and laugh out loud. At last I am home...Home sweet home.
The good part of today is that I went for driving lesson with my mum. Of course you can see her clutching the side of the door tightly even her veins were showing. She sat in one odd direction, and her feet will never stop moving. She sometimes slam on the brakes as if that there is one at the passenger seats. I, on the other hand enjoyed my driving and sometimes slam on the brakes too hard that make the car jerk, and my mum will jerk by sitting up straight. At the bump she will be screaming 'HIT THE BRAKES!' and she always say the same thing 'Keep to the left'. I guess driving the first time is really fun but it is never fun for my mum.

Thank God for friends

Friends are pretty special to me. They are the part where they show happiness. In Malaysia it wasn't that hard to find friends but in New Zealand.
It was a torturing for 6 months,
six months without friends,
six months without talking,
six months without a real smile on my face in school.
It was like no one would accept an Asian girl in a white country. I prayed and prayed for friends, and God gave me some. I wasnt satisfied...until Alice said 'Sit with us! Please..' and I always asked 'Why?' She got such lovely friends why would she want a boring person to sit with her? And her answer...'Because you are funny' Of course I am shocked but pleased. And I guess I am funny because I can't speak as well as they do...you know Malaysian accent. Well, I reluctantly denied but I seriously wanted to sit with them. But I dare not leave my friends alone, the group who invited me to sit with them first.
And guess what! Every single day, I looked forward to Graphics, not because I like that subject, it is just because of those three silly girls who would make my day...most of the times. It is interesting how they argue and sometimes talk non stop. Or how they talk but never listen to the other conversation and the other would just yell 'Listen!'.
Anyhow, not to forget my Malaysian friends. It wasn't hard to choose a group because they join the group I am in. As they got bigger, it slowly disperse to smaller group, how sad... Anyway, sometimes I try to include those daydreamers who got left out once in awhile but not all the time. Hey! I am not perfect! It was all good the first year. The group grew at the second year but the third year I dont really know what happen. Well, who cares about that, all I know is that my friends are special in different ways. They make me smile differently...Jia Ling with her sarcasm, Andrea with her funny reactions, Li Hui with her bad stamina...and more. Each one take a part in completing the groups happiness, well some just couldn't tolerate but I love what the group is made out right now.
Well, the church is lovely, everyone is close knitted to each other, everyone is just like a family there. So thank God for such good and lovely friends I have.
I would say that sometimes I make people unhappy or I dont really know how to show my appreciation, so please forgive my stupid acts. It sort of pains me if I lose one good friend like you guys...I know I might be a bully or sarcastic person. Sorry if I disappoint you guys.

A day at home...not really

I went out with my mum to visit my cousins, Leroy and Amanda. Was pretty reluctant at first because I planned to spend my time at home today. Well, so my mum and I brought Amanda to the shop and she was pretty scared at first. But I think she wanted to go so badly but didnt want to leave her 'kakak' and her mum behind. She was a pretty cute little cousin I have as when she was on her way out she wave and gave a few flying kisses to her 'kakak'.
When we reached the office, she was as scared as a little mice when she saw my brother. She wanted to run off. Well, I think she did enjoy her half an hour day out because she wanted to go out again when we place her back at her house.
Anyway, Alice wanted to see my dogs picture. But you know, my dog, Cherry, she is a pretty stubborn girl. I said 'Look at the camera!', she would turn her head high and away like a little cocky dog. It took me 15 minutes just to get a clear picture of her face...

Well, she is quite a big dog, when she jump she is as tall my neck height. I realised when I just came back from NZ. New Zealand dogs are pretty small, I mean they love to own small dogs. Although, Cherry is pretty big, she is a gentle dog but not when she get hyper. She goes crazy and wild. But she wouldn't bite your fingers when you give her a food and she would lick you if you are injured. That is my precious little dog, make her cry and I would make you suffer!

A day out with Shu Ping, Li Hui and Angel

Well as the title said it all, I went out at DP again. This time to watch a movie and we watch 'Christmas Carol'. Boring movie, but the ending was quite hilarious. While watching half way, I wanted to go to the toilet and everyone ended up going to the toilet. It was funny how they complained about the cinema being too cold while I am the only one enjoying the cold. The cinema was quite empty so we took a few pictures.

From Left to right : Shu ping, Angel and Li hui

Shu ping was complaining about the flash as you can see, her mouth is opened wide with unhappiness. So after the movies, we went to McDonald and have lunch. Only for Li hui and Shu ping while Angel and I just grabbed their chips and munched away. This is a kind of food they made, Li hui was self-praising her cooking.

The result of mixing salt and pepper with coke

After testing the result of it, shu ping was taste it and was she love the results of it. Her face expression tells it all. Later, we went out to the field and shu ping and I snapped pictures of the bollywood dancers.

After singing the patriotic people sang their country song, they started dancing.

Uh...this is not so appropriate, the picture below is better...

Badminton, I wanted intensive training but end up those old folks time and date just doesnt suit well with my schedule.. So I end up and planned to ask Uncle Tony to train me if he is willing to...And everyone of my friends are like Livia your accent changed! I believe this is the cause of hanging out with all the kiwis and not one asian. Especially Alice who loves to teach me how to speak the kiwi accent through the phone. And I never seems to get it right. The boys didnt want to believe that my brother is talking the way he is talking. They think that he is lying, but actually he isn't. He is just the same like me, no asian friends and all kiwis. Of course he will change.Every auntie was like 'Oh Livia you put on weight! Nice cheeks now.' and I felt my soul was taking away everytime they said that. But they said I got nice cheeks so my spirit was lifted up again! My bones feel so fragile now, they are going to break as soon as I stand up. Badminton in Malaysia are way hardout than New Zealand. Oh yeah! And I bought skinny jeans and shoes. At last, I won't be the akward one when I hang out with my friends. But I might still be the akward one though, Asian in the mist of Kiwis and fat in the mist of skinny people. What a shame..and I need someone to teach me how to swim! Everytime standing at the side while those little kids kicks of and swim, it is really embarrassing for me.

The surprise

At last i can blog about this, I think Alice is dying to know what have been happening in Malaysia, ae Alice? Probably not...
I really had a good time today, it was hilarious. My friends even saw some of my NZ friends. They said they looks so mature and I look so childish.....
Anyway today I ate roti canai.

Watch the video my NZ friends, this is how malaysian speak.

This is like their first time seeing someone using a messaging chair. Elena was like 'Oh! Oh! Now it is messaging her butt..' And Tiong was like 'I can't feel anything at my butt.'

It was a pretty good surprise. Farah reaction was funny, she came and I came out. All she does was cup her mouth and point at me. And after that she muttered 'I am going to kill you'.

Jazel, she came in and said 'Hi everyone' in her cheerful voice and one glance at everyone. She was like smiling happily and all of the sudden she pointed at me and said 'You are back!' Slow reaction I know.

Michelle, no comment about her reaction all she does was 'Oh hi Livia...' Sigh..

But darshna, it was hilarious. She was shocked that everyone was here but she took a glance and I thought 'Oh well, she might not have a reaction after all'. It changes until one of her friend grab her hand and ask her to look closely at everyone. She saw me and ran to hugged me. Then she started blaming Tiong for blocking her. Haha...

Andrea, was through the phone. Too bad she can't come, I phone her and she didnt believe me at first thinking I was Tiong. Until everyone convince her that it was me and she was like 'OMG!' and started crying...She thought she would never be able to see me if she go to Penang which is like tomorrow. So she started sobbing and I had to convince her that I will stay till February. If she dint cry I would have said I am staying her till January but she cried. Didnt expect that...haha! All in all it was good. But I sort of miss NZ and my friends there right now...

It was a bumpy ride but it was good because of the movies! I didnt sleep and the whole time i watch movie. I even ignore the man because my earphone was on. He was like 'Miss, miss, what do you want?' And I was like focusing on the lil' screen. Lovely isn't it, I realised that he was talking to me when my brother nudge me on the elbow. Of course got lil' pissed off by what he did because he interrupted me. Well all in all it was great and I feel sleepy...
